Is Brookdale Senior Living better than Sunrise Retirement homes?

I would never have my parent in one of those franchised assisted living homes. Forget either one and find a more reputable locally owned Assisted Living Facility for your grandmother. Sunrise is also a big corporation with homes across the country. A retirement home is one in which they have lifetime care for a heavy fee. Those are top of the line but if you are talking about Assisted Living, be careful where she is going to live even if you are using Medicaid, because those places are not the best ones.
