David Allen ? Evidence Which is Necessary in Order ... - Legal Shield

The issue of whether or not text messages can be introduced as evidence in court is examined by Attorney David Allen. The case involves a man who was accused of kidnapping and sexual assault of a woman. Her phone was used to send various text messages. Prosecutors attempted to use the messages in the trial against the man accused of the crimes. He argued there was no way of knowing who sent the text messages and therefore they cannot be used as evidence against him. The Nevada Supreme Court decided the case on appeal.
