A Connecticut children's advocacy group says it's calculating whether there's a rising percentage of state residents working without health insurance.
The Connecticut Voices for Children plans to release its analysis Tuesday. The analysis is based on information from the U.S. Census Bureau's 2010 Current Population Survey.
Earlier analyses found 13 percent of Connecticut workers lacked health insurance between 2008 and 2009. That was up from 11 percent during 2006-07.
The group also said 413,000 state residents didn't have insurance in 2008, including 62,000 children. But the group says its analyses haven't found any statistically significant increases in the number of uninsured Connecticut youth in recent years. It attributes that stability partly to the success of the state's HUSKY program for uninsured children and their families.
